Criteria for Participation in this Clinical Trial

Inclusion Criteria:

  • Subjects with mild diabetes without prior medications or impaired glucose tolerance

Exclusion Criteria:

  • Pregnancy
  • Recent major cardiac, renal and hepatic disease
  • Intolerance to alcohol
  • Allergy to acarbose treatment
